Love the network and its coverage. But please shape up monotone Tucker or replace him! Thanks.
I love this channel! We
I love this channel! We watch it in the office every Saturday even though we are Boston College fans for the most part. We just love football! I think it is really great for all the Big Ten fans out there. I don't really have a favorite Big 10 school, but I can say I am very happy with Minnesota for giving us Laurence Maroney and Purdue for Matt Light. Hoping to see an Ohio State vs. Boston College matchup for the National Title! If you don't have the Big Ten Network yet, give me a call and I will get that taken care of for you.

Wonderful to be able to
Wonderful to be able to watch the Nittany Lions! Some games were not always televised. The radio didn't make it.
Thanks Big Ten Network!

Thank You DIRECTV. Big Ten
Thank You DIRECTV.
Big Ten Network was the right move. The coverage of the games was top rate; the announcers did a good job; and four games just one click apart. Cable just wants to make more money from us while DIRECTV gives us what we want. I didn't know BTN was more than the one game in our area. What a nice surprise.
Thanks,
Dan from PA
The customers make the real
The customers make the real difference here. Drop your cable company or Dish Network and subscribe to Directv. When those companies loose subscribers and their profits fall, amazing things will happen. The cable/satellite companies will know why and maybe before many more customers are lost they will reconsider listing the Big Ten Network. I will drop Dish Network and have Directv installed. My penalty for early cancellation is offset by the rebates Directv is offering at this time. I will have Big Ten Network regardless and not miss any more Ohio State games. Goodbye greedy Satellite company!!!
Folks, There seems to be a
Folks,
There seems to be a lot of misunderstanding about the Big Ten Network. The Big Ten Network is not taking games away from you and making you pay for them. ABC gets first choice on what Big Ten Game it wants to air each week. And every other week - except for two weeks - ESPN gets the second choice of Big Ten Games to air.
Nothing is taken away from you. Like always, you can watch the game aired by ABC over DIRECTV, Cable or even the good ole rabbit ears.
Here's what is different:
Say you live in Columbus but want to watch Michigan State play Wisconsin. Not happening on ABC and probably not happening on ESPN either. But you can get this game on Big Ten Network.
DIRECTV is providing a valuable service to their subscribers for no extra charge. Big Ten Network is included with all of their packages (above the "Family") package. What is wrong with this? Providing a service that is not otherwise available, and offering it to subscribers for no additional cost seems doggone generous in this day and age.
Just my $.02
