Three MLB Teams Reveal HD Schedules
The Milwaukee Brewers, St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Royals this week announced their HD TV schedules for the 2008 season.
FSN Midwest will televise 88 St. Louis Cardinals games in HD, including all but one of its home games. The HD schedule will start with the Cards' opening day game on March 31.
FSN Wisconsin (formerly FSN North) will broadcast 65 Milwaukee Brewers games in high-def this season, an increase from last year's 48 HD games. The first HD game will be March 31 against the Chicago Cubs.
Also, FSN Kansas City (formerly w/FSN Midwest) announced this week that it will air 88 Kansas City Royals games in high-def, starting with opening day against the Detroit Tigers.
The Royals were one of only three MLB teams who were not available locally last year in HD. The other two -- the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals -- will have 40 games each this year in high-def, broadcast by the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN).
