Big Ten Network to close deal with Comcast

Before the football season starts, Big Ten Network will settle for a deal with Comcast. It appears that both are negotiating for a deal and have made a significant move towards a settlement. If the deal goes ahead without any hindrance, Michigan subscribers of Comcast will be so happy as Big Ten is available only on DIRECTV and Dish Network Comcast subscribers miss a lot. Comcast will have to place The Big Ten on extended basic package. DIRECTV was the first provider to add Big Ten Network in its base package when the channel was launched during August last year.

  • DIRECTV beats Comcast
I picked DirecTV because everyone said the quality was better than cable (which it is). I hate Comcast. They were always raising their fees. The bundle they offered intrigued me, until I did a little research and found out what I would actually pay. No thanks! DirecTV has a better price and better picture quality. And Verizon DSL for phone and internet is a better deal too. Easy descision once you know the facts.
