CineMaya Media Group launches a New Channel India Plus

India Plus, a new television channel has been launched by the CineMaya Media Group. The new channel will be targeting the Indian audiance living in U.S bringing programming from Doordarshan India(DD), National broadcaster of India. DIRECTV subscribers already view DD India on Bonus International Programming, Doordarshan broadcast on DIRECTV will be taken over by the new channel to expand the distribution. To cover the Indian sub-ethnic language speaking DIRECTV subscribers like Tamil, Gujarati, Punjabi, Telugu and Malayalam, the channel will broadcast Urdu and also English news. This new channel will be targeting the rising Indian population in U.S.
