DIRECT TV adds three new HD channels

DIRECTV started its high-definition expansion for the year 2008; DIRECT TV has added Disney Channel HD, ESPNews HD and Toon Disney HD. This addition of channels into the HD line-up will take DIRECTV's national HD channel from 92 to 95. This will be the beginning of the HD expansion of DIRECTV, as expected from September with the help of new satellite DIRECTV 11 launched last month, the satcaster will roll more high-definition channels to reach 150 national HD channel.
