DIRECTV customers in Omaha, Nebraska get local HD channels

DIRECTV further extended its Local high-definition addition yesterday. The satcaster has started offering local high-definition stations to customers to Omaha, Nebraska. Now the DIRECTV customers in Omaha will receive KETV/ABC, KMTV/CBS, KPTM/FOX, WOWT/NBC and KXVO/CW.
With the Omaha addition, DIRECT TV now offers local HD channels in 77 cities, representing about 76 percent of U.S. TV households.
DIRECTV also said that local TV channels in standard definition is added to its customers in Dothan, Alabama. DIRECTV said that DIRECTV offers standard-definition local channels in 148 markets representing about 94 percent of U.S. TV households.
