Discovery Communications along with five other Networks filed lawsuit against FCC

Discovery and other five network filed a suit against Federal Communications Commission(FCC) in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia on FCC's on Monday against dual-must-carry proposal and argued that FCC has no authority. The Weather Channel, TV One, A&E Television Networks, Scripps Networks C-SPAN and Discovery Communications strongly oppose FCC that the legal and policy grounds proposed federal rules that could furnish certain local TV stations with greater carriage rights on cable systems than they currently possess. Its not clear why these six Network joined together to raise the issue? Many Networks are behind these companies.
