Last nights episode of American Gladiator was the end of the journey for some but the beginning of a new one for others. The final eight competitors who proved themselves worthy contenders are now set to enter the next phase of competition. While all 8 contestants have proved that they have what it takes to be a winner only one will be crowned the victor, to whom the spoils will go. The winners one from each group will receive $100,000 , 2008 Toyota Tundra and the right to return as an American Gladiator next season.
On the men's side Evan will be the one to beat. His time of 1.29 propelled him to the head of the pack. Last night however Alex, a history teacher and inner city high school coach showed us that he definitely is a contender. His time was 1.38. Evan had definetly better watch his back because Alex will be nipping at his heels.
On the ladies side Monica ( stay at home mom) has the time to beat. She clocked a respectable time of 2.00. Hopefully she's not resting on her laurels as Shanay and Siene who posted the same time of 2.22 might just be able to bring her down if they can step up the pace a little.
Be sure to watch next week to see which competitor goes down in defeat because they forgot to bring their A game to the competition.
