Directv tops in customer satisfaction again
It's that time of year again. The time when the University of Michigan releases the results of the latest American Customer Satisfaction Index survey. Not surprisingly, Satellite TV was once again number one in customer satisfaction. This is the 9th straight year that the satellite giant has been ranked first in customer approval.
Satellite TV beat out Dish Network, its' closest satellite competitor by seven points this year. In addition, because of their higher customer satisfaction scores this year Satellite TV became the only satellite company to best all the cable companies like Cox Communications, Comcast, Charter Communications and Time Warner, who were included in the survey.
For myself, a former cable subscriber and Satellite TV customer for many years their win comes as no surprise to me. I have always felt that Satellite TV has made it their mission to ensure the satisfaction of all their customers. First by providing prompt, gracious and quality customer service. Second for constantly striving to not only bring quality programming to their customers, but also cutting edge, innovative tools (remote dvr scheduling and score guide) which contribute to making tv viewing a more enjoyable experience.
