Lost - The wait is almost over but will fans be disappointed once again

While the long wait for the season premier for Lost is almost at an end  fans might be interested to know that a full seasons of episodes will not be in the offing. Only eight episodes had been shot when production was halted just before Thanksgiving. The writers strike has also put a crimp on production. Should the strike end today I seriously doubt that the production company and writers will be able to come up with eight more credible episodes in a short period of time. Remember fans wer promised 16 consecutive episodes. Guess fans will just have to be content at least for now with whatever number of episodes that ABC airs.
