The Planet Earth series on the Discovery channel was wonderful. I plan on purchasing the DVD for my family. Watching it on Discovery HD was mind-blowing. It can't even compare to standard/analog tv. Once you see it in HD, you will fall in love with it. I wish that we didn't have to pay extra for HD TV, but in the end it is worth it.
