On New Yeas day I watched a show on channel 79, I think, around 11EST. It was a concert in Britain I believe focused on a specific writer. Can you tell me the name of the show and will it be shown again.
The show was spectacular in audio and visual.

In a move that added another programming property to its high-def efforts, DIRECTV on Wednesday said it would carry local public TV stations across the nation in its HD offerings. This is great news. The nature shows and concerts that PBS broadcasts are the best of HD programming, in my opinion.

Watched a great animal show

Watched a great animal show the other night . One of the scenes was about a mother polar bear and her newborn cub. The footage shown in hd was absolutely amazing. Once you've watched shows in Hd, you can't imagine watching shows any other way.

What's not to like about PBS. They always have an excellent line up in their programming schedule. My favorite show to record on my direct tv dvr is Americas Test Kitchen. I love all the recipes and the information on all the best cooking gadgets and the better tasting food products.
