News Briefs: DIRECTV Launches HDs in Alaska
PROGRAMMING -- DIRECTV added local high-def channels in the Alaskan cities of Anchorage and Juneau. In Anchorage, the company added the HD feeds for KAKM (PBS, channel 7) and KTVA (CBS, channel 11). In Juneau, DIRECTV launched the HD feed from KUAC (PBS, channel 9).
