Expert Satellite: DIRECTV Preferred On-Line Dealer

Who are we? Expert Satellite is a DIRECTV Preferred On-Line Retailer. We are a nationwide company that serves all of North Carolina, as well as the rest of the US. For more than 10 years we've been helping people become DIRECTV customers. Over those years, we have gained experience and knowledge about DIRECTV which is unsurpassed by any other retailer in the satellite TV industry.

We hope that you will find our web site useful in answering any questions you may have about DIRECTV. In turn, if you decide that you want to move forward with DIRECTV service, or if you just want to speak with an expert, we hope that you will call us.

DIRECTV Pricing: Simple and fair

Did you know that DIRECTV is available all over North Carolina? In fact, DIRECTV has more than 18 million subscribers throughout all 50 states. With so many subscribers nationwide, DIRECTV has the benefit of being a large company with buying power that allows it to include channels in their programming packages which local cable TV companies cannot match. Also, being a nationwide company, DIRECTV offers nationwide pricing.

What does that mean? It means that you do not pay any more or any less for DIRECTV, no matter where you live, or which retailer you choose to buy from. You will receive the same great DIRECTV National Channels, such as the Discovery Channel, ESPN, Lifetime and Nickelodeon, whether you live in Napa or New York City. Same channels, same price. Plus, your Local TV Channels (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, etc.) are included for Free with every DIRECTV Programming Package. Simple and Fair. With cable TV, your channel line-up and monthly cost could vary from town to town or city to city in North Carolina. That's doesn't sound so simple or fair. And we all know cable tv companies often take advantage of customers who don't have other options. Well, you do have other options.

DIRECTV's Clear HD Advantage

DIRECTV's advantage over cable television is even greater with High Definition Programming. DIRECTV has made a huge investment in satellite technology for HD and is now the undisputed leader in Hi-Def, with more than 130 National HD Channels. With cable companies, there are some areas of the country that have no HD channels at all. Plus, in a large number of markets, DIRECTV offers Local Channels in HD when you subscribe to their HD Access Package for only $10/month. If HD TV is important to you, then you cannot go wrong with DIRECTV.

It's Easy to get DIRECTV in North Carolina

Wondering how DIRECTV is set-up in your home? First of all, everyone gets Free Standard Installation. All you need is a clear view of the southern sky. DIRECTV's Network of Certified Installers in North Carolina will do the rest. Outside your home, a small dish will be pointed to the southern sky, and if possible, the dish will be hooked up to your current cable wiring. Inside your home, a DIRECTV receiver (standard, HD, DVR or HD-DVR) - like a set-top box - will be connected to each TV. The installer will give you a remote control for each receiver and program them for you before they leave. If the DIRECTV Installer determines that your home does not have a clear line of sight to the southern sky, then you are under no obligation to keep the service. There is no cost to get started. Simple and Fair.

Customer Service

DIRECTV's leadership carries forward into its Customer Service, which is rated #1 by J.D. Power & Associates. Unlike the cable companies, which your town, city or state "chose" for you, DIRECTV has to earn your business, because YOU are the one choosing them. Doesn't it make sense that a company which has to work harder to get customers will also work harder to keep them? DIRECTV understands that the key to maintaining a successful company is to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. They appreciate your business.

Again, we hope that you will find the information on this web site helpful, and if you decide to make the switch to DIRECTV, please give us a call.

When I was young we had "rabbit ears on top of our TV. There was no color or push buttons of any kind. Neighbors who had more money than we did had rotary antennas on top of their house. We had to get up off the couch to turn the TV on or off, to change channels (which required you to turn the "rabbit ears" to adjust the quality of the picture). Today's people are greatly spoiled.
After watching TV 50+ years Direct TV surpasses everything I've seen before. Direct TV is better than it's competition. Thank you Direct TV for helping me and my family watch quality TV at an affordable price. P Flowers/ North Carolina

Please provide a list of channels availabe with the $29.95 package.

If you go to the Programming page (orange link to the left), you can see what channels are available in each package.

In my service area the only broadband internet that's available is through Charter cable (it sux).If I dump Charter and go with Direct then I'll have TV but no broadband connection. (not even DSL is available). Have you got a product that does not cost an arm and leg that's dependable to provide me with both TV and brosdband data?

Ok, what gives? I have to pay extra for the NFL net work and you guys cave in to the Government???? What ever happened to free enterprise.? I will be calling you about my bill real soon V Davenport

You seem to be mistaken. Direct tv did not "cave" in to the government. The NFL made the decision to air the game for free on Saturday night. It's their network. It had nothing to do with direct tv. What's the big deal anyway? It's only one game, and the whole country deserves to see it. Do you complain when direct tv gives you free preview weekends of HBO, Showtime, etc? I doubt it. Consider it a free preview for ONE GAME.

Also, I don't believe you pay extra for the nfl network on direct tv. It's included in most of their programming packages. If you have Comcast or some other cable provider, you would have to pay for an extra sports package to get nfl network. I should know, I am one of those that pays Comcast $6 extra each month to get it. If I could get direct tv in my building, I would. So stop complaining and enjoy the game.
