Washington, D.C. (January 14, 2008) -- WTSP-TV, the CBS affiliate in Tampa-Bay/St. Petersburg, Florida, today began broadcasting local news programs in High-Definition.

The switch to HD news occurred with the station's 4 p.m. newscast, anchored by Dave Wirth and Marty Matthews.

WTSP, channel 10, is the third station in the Tampa area to deliver local news in high-def. WFTS and WFLA were the first and second respectively.

WTSP officials said today that its studio was revamped to accommodate the high-def broadcast

All you CW network viewing fans. Directv is now broadcasting this channel in HD. How great is that. I can't wait to watch my favorite show Reaper in HD. Have you checked out this show it is hilarious. One of my favorites this season. Definitely a winner.
