I have switched my cable provider to direct tv and I have a lot more channels for the less than the price I was paying the other cable provider. my service is much clearer on my tvs.

does the direct Tv have the YES Network
I just jumped ship from Charter to DirecTV today, although I still have Charter internet since it's the only high speed internet available. I was extremely impressed with the installation technician (Karl), he explained everything and did a very clean installation and set everything up perfectly. I can't say the same about Charter when they came to do my cable; they didn't even set my remote up and tried to tell me dots running across my screen were from my 'broken' TV. I made them get a new cable box and magically the dots disappeared. I'm so happy to have tons of HD channels and an awesome DVR service...DirecTV is great!
how much does HD cost after 3 months?
Very good question about cost after the $29.99, 150 channel expires, what is the cost?? Can NOT find any data reading the fine print. Realize this if the Starting as low as - - promotion.Waiting to find out since Client Relations person is waiting for my answer.
From my understanding when I signed up for the $34.99 offer with 200 channels and 3 free movie channels for 3 months, that this is a 24 month contract, but the offer is only good for 12 months and after the year is up, it goes back up to the $62. rate, UNLESS, I call in at that time and ask for another discounted offer that they have. They also upgraded me to 1 free yr of Showtime, with the free 3 months of HBO and Startz. Then they included another Digital box for free, but it will cost me $4.99 a month extra to use it. I also discovered that you can record 2 different channels at once, while watching a third on the DVD recorder box. You can only record on channel on DISH's box.
Personally I thought it was a great deal and I'm switching over from cable, who could not match it. I only got my movie channels on one tv with Comcast, but will get them on all 4 tv's with Direct TV.

It shows the regular cost is 52.99 on the advertisement. That will be the cost you will pay monthly after the promotion runs out.
The regular prices are shown on every package page. They are not in the fine print, they are right next to the current promotion prices. Some of them have a line through them, but they are still clearly there. At the top of this page, you will see the regular package prices directly next to the promotion prices.
The HD Access charge is $9.99/month.
Unless you're on the PLUSHD package which includes the HD access fee in it.
I just got my first ever satellite service with direct tv. The associate I spoke with was so great. Thank you Aaron for the awesome experience. The phone call was answered quickly and he was personable and totally helpful and offered explanations I could understand and answered ALL my questions throughly. I cannot believe the savings over my current cable. Amazing. I will tell everyone I know about this experience and recommend direct tv to them. Im so glad I decided to do this change over from cable.

I simply love my Direct Tv! I have been a customer for more then 7 years & do not have 1 complaint. The customer service is the best ever! They go above & beyond to help me out when I call. The whole time I have had my service I have lost it maybe 10 times & only during a huge lighting storm. I always recommend Direct Tv to everyone I know, you won't find a better value anywhere else!!!!
We have had direct tv now for about 4 mths and loving it, got my boyfriend hooked on the dvr service he tries to find the remote when we go out and pause or ff when we got to the movies.. we've lost service 1 the whole time we've had it.. i wrked for dish netwrk and i will say that direct tv is the best so far...
