What happens in the event of a blackout?
When a major league team plays in its home market, local broadcasts of that game will generally be blacked out. In almost all cases, however, DIRECTV will offer those game broadcasts on local stations. DIRECTV also offers GameSearch, a unique feature that automatically scans channels in the case of a blackout. This handy tool will find out quickly if and where the game is being broadcast. If the game is unavailable on all networks, you'll receive an on screen message.
How do I renew my MLB EXTRA INNINGS subscription?
