That's right, The Mtn. is coming your way via a partnership between Mountain Sports Network and DIRECTV. This soon-to-air network will be a positive new addition to DIRECTV's already stellar sports programming choices, including the popular Big Ten Network.
The Mtn. carries the Mountain West Conference (MWC) with all the action-packed games between college teams in the mountain states. The conference is comprised of nine NCAA Division I Institutions: Air Force Academy, Brigham Young University, Colorado State University, University of Utah, San Diego State University, Texas Christian University, University of Nevada Las Vegas, University of New Mexico and University of Wyoming.
The Mtn. has a "fans first" commitment and features a variety of engaging news, commentary and analysis given by prominent sportscasters. Devoted fans living all across the country can soon access all this varied programming on DIRECTV, including the always popular Mountain West football not available through most TV providers, including cable.
The 2008 Mtn. TV schedule covered more than 200 games, including a full roster of football, men's and women's basketball, and men's and women's Olympic sports. Viewers also continue to enjoy regular shows including Around the Mountain, a meeting of the minds of sports writers, radio personalities and sports editors, Mountain Peak Performances, a special program on Olympic sports at the mountain schools and Mountain Cap, a spotlight on the games' crowning moments.

That's right, The Mtn. is included in all of our Base Programming Packages, except Family.
