I picked DirecTV because
I picked DirecTV because everyone said the quality was better than cable (which it is). I hate Comcast. They were always raising their fees. The bundle they offered intrigued me, until I did a little research and found out what I would actually pay. No thanks! DirecTV has a better price and better picture quality. And Verizon DSL for phone and internet is a better deal too. Easy descision once you know the facts.

Tell me about it. I just moved into a new apartment, so I'm researching my tv options. When I looked online, my local cable company is charging $52.00 for basic cable (95 channels). Its not even digital, just basic. And that doesn't include any of the monthly "fees and charges", which will easily add up to $60 a month. Ridiculous. I've only got one TV, and so far direct tv seems to be the way to go, no question. Let's hope they are as good as advertised.
